"Light peach. Sweet apricot, raspberry and creamy peach flavours coat the palate on this richly textured but soft, off-dry rosé. The plush palate is neither weighty nor powerful but has plenty of ripe fruit flavour which finishes with sweet honeydew flavours. This single vineyard Pinot Noir Rosé is made from our steep home block 'Maybern" Vineyard behind our winery. Dry-farmed and narrow planted, growing here is a labour of love, with most work carried out by hand. The notably soft acidity is achieved by carefully monitoring the ripening in the vineyard and choosing the picking time when all components are in balance. Hand harvested like all Johanneshof wines, its a non vintage wine made as an assemblage of our tiny 2023 and 2024 vintages.
